vssc087n - increased lcl activity

South Sea Cargo departed from Port Vila on June 4th. The barge arrived in Litslits, Malekula.

The next day and the team began the operations. Delivering some full containers to our dedicated customers in the Malampa province, along with some LCL cargo goods – which are becoming increasingly popular.

Before departing Malekula, the team had to land some cargo and then headed to the next destination, Santo.

With a pleasant surprise of seeing a cruise ship docked in Santo’s wharf. It is good to see the tourism industry bouncing back since recent cyclones earlier this year. The Santo operations were successful with some full container deliveries and repositions along with 2 additional LCL cargo goods delivered  to the people of Santo. The crew noticed they’ve seen a recent increase in LCL activity, which is awesome news!
